Sep 24, 2018 If you deleted Safari and don't have a Time Machine backup or other backup, reinstall macOS to put Safari back in your Applications folder. I upgraded a Mac Mini and also a MacBook Air from Lion to Mountain Lion a week or more ago and have not had any problems with Sibelius 7.1.2 on either computer. Also, I am happy with Mountain Lion, especially the iCloud integration which effectively gives me a network for functions like Calendar, Mail and Contacts and the Reminders which I find very useful.

I'm running Mountain Lion and have upgraded to 7.1.2 I now find that Sibelius won't open at all..Anyone else with the same problem ? It's very frustrating since I make my living in the music industry and I find I am now loosing valuable time because of this problem.

Used Onyx, cleaned up everything, also tried another account and it still won't work. It freezes at 'initializing playback system'.

Do you have any third-party VSTs or Audio Units installed on your computer? If so, perhaps one or more of them is incompatible with Mountain Lion.
